Adverse reaction to food
SENSITIVITY CONTROL Chicken & Rice is a complete dietetic food for dogs formulated to reduce ingredient and nutrient intolerances. This diet contains selected sources of protein and carbohydrate. Selected protein: chicken. Selected carbohydrate: rice.
- Food intolerance
- Atopic dermatitis
- Chronic and acute diarrhoea
- Chronic idiopathic colitis
Feeding duration:
When a food allergy or intolerance is suspected, the dog’s diet needs to be changed without any food transition period. Nutritional management with Sensitivity Control Canine should be continued for the pet’s lifetime.
Chicken and rice are rarely involved in food allergy and are highly digestible. This approach reduces the risk of allergic reaction in the dog.
Very high amounts of biotin, niacin and pantothenic acid in combination with zinc reduce water losses through the skin and strengthen the barrier effect of the skin.
Eicosapentaenoic and docosahexaenoic acids, omega-3 long chain fatty acids, modulate skin reactions and contribute to the intestinal mucosal integrity.
Fructo-Oligo-Saccharides promote healthy digestive flora and contribute to the intestinal mucosal integrity.
Further information:
Due to its high level of EPA/DHA, Sensitivity Control Canine is recommended in cases of chronic pruritic dermatosis with an allergic component, including atopic dermatitis.
Recommended daily quantities (g/day):
Water should be available at all times
